Mothers Day Gift Basket Ideas

This year was my first mothers day with my 7 month old son so it was extra special! I wanted to make mothers day baskets for his grandmas and came across these cute coffee holder gift baskets on TikTok. I thought they were so adorable yet simple and easy! In this post I'm sharing my spin on these viral gift baskets as well as a cute handmade mothers day card idea you can do with your baby!

Instead of an actual basket you are going to need these cardboard drink carriers.

Most people put a starbucks coffee drink such as a frappuccino in one side, but I used a sparkling watermelon juice from Trader Joe's and a chocolate truffle bar. In the other side I filled a large ball jar with a bouquet of tulips, sunflowers, lilacs, and babies breath. As a final touch I used a clothespin to attach a gift card to the drink carrier. 

These mothers day gift baskets turned out so cute for my mom and mother-in-law but they would also make great house warming gifts, a gift to a new mom, or teacher gift! 

I think the sweetest part of these mothers day gifts were the handmade cards I made with my baby! My mom said she wanted to frame it because she loved it so much!
