In this post I am sharing the details on our laundry room bathroom makeover! This is my favorite project we have done on our house so far because it made our small laundry room so much more functional! If you are looking for laundry room bathroom ideas, I truly think you will get some practical organization tips and design inspiration from this post.

The main goal of this makeover was to create enough space to hang our clothes to air dry. Prior to this laundry room bathroom layout, I had to hang our clothes all over our house wherever I could find a spot to drape a sweater over a chair or hang a t shirt in a doorway. If someone unexpectedly stopped by I'd have to run and grab my bras off of the kitchen table before answering the door, lol!
We purchased a wooden closet rod from Lowe's and stained it Early American to hang clothing items on hangers to dry. This wall rack is amazing for hang drying leggings and jeans and this one is perfect for bras and tank tops. I love these because they are functional but also work as decor pieces.
Luckily our laundry room bathroom floor plan allows enough room for a toilet and vanity. Although we don't use this bathroom often, it's nice to have an extra bathroom area when we have several guests over. I love how the shelf on this mirror saves space and keeps the vanity clutter free. When you have a very small laundry room bathroom combination, any way that you can utilize as much space as possible helps!

Another struggle I had before this laundry room makeover was not having a place to store cleaning tools such as my vacuum, attachments, and mops. To solve this issue I created a little area next to our washing machine and dryer. These broom holders and hanging baskets are an awesome way to maximize storage in a small laundry room.
One of the trickiest spots to decorate, in my opinion, is above the toilet. In my other bathroom makeover I put shelves above the toilet, but I decided to keep the decor simple in this smaller area. This print is one of my favorite pieces of art in my home!
