I recently gave our guest bathroom a makeover, but not just any makeover - a kid bathroom makeover! We are expecting a baby boy this September and this bathroom will primarily be his! Of course our guests will still use this bathroom when they come over, so I wanted the decor to be a good mix for both kids and guests. This post is all about kid bathroom decor that is still appealing for a guest bathroom!

If you'd like to see this bathroom before we gutted and renovated it you can read this post where I share the before and after!
It seems like kid bathroom themes are usually based off of characters but I wanted our bathroom theme to be based around our own dogs, Lucy and Harvey! I found an Etsy seller that photoshops pictures of your dogs into different scenes and thought these prints were so cute and funny! I submitted pictures from when they were puppies and I absolutely love how they turned out! I think they make for the perfect kid bathroom art!
The "wash your paws" sign is just a print that I made myself on Canva and printed at Walgreens. I seriously have the worst luck printing at Walgreens - my pictures always get cut off! It's so frustrating but you can't beat the convenience of the 1 hour pick up! I will probably redo this print so the 'w' isn't cut off and I might change the color of the background since the mat in the frame is also white. Anyway, if you can't find any kid bathroom art that you like, you can totally design your own on Canva!
When styling this bathroom I kept it pretty minimal. The hooks will be great to hang the baby bath, hooded towels, bath toys, etc. and I kept the shelves filled with toiletries and such that will be useful for our guests!
If you've ever thought "how can I make my bathroom fun for kids" or "how do you style a kids bathroom that is also used by guests" I hope this post gave you some kid bathroom decor ideas! Thank you so much for reading!
