One of my goals as a mom is to make every holiday extra special for my kids! This year is going to be my baby's first Valentine's day and even though he is only 4 months old, I still wanted to put together a baby Valentines basket for him! I aimed to fill it with items that would be useful to him in this stage while also on theme with Valentine's day! In this post I'm sharing all of the details on my Valentines day basket for baby boy!
Let's start with basket options! When browsing Pinterest I saw that these metal wire baskets were popular for Valentine's day gifts. I like them because you can actually see everything inside. I grabbed this 4 pack from Amazon that way I have extras to use for future kids! I'm not sure how many kids we will end up having but figured it was a good deal, and I'll store the others in our Valentine's day decor box. I don't plan to go too crazy with Valentine's day gifts every year, so these are a good size for a few little treats! Since the basket itself is so simple, I ordered this custom name tag to tie onto it.
Next, let's cover the items I put into the baby Valentines basket! I started with books since my 4 month old is starting to really enjoy story time. I chose mostly board books so he can grab for the pages without ripping them. There were so many cute options but I settled on these 4 books. The next gift I added was a pair of nice bamboo PJs and I stayed on theme with this heart pattern! Since my 4 month old baby is starting to show signs of teething I ordered this teether that's easy for little hands to hold and this sensory teether that will hopefully keep him entertained! Lastly, since my baby is too little for treats, I got him these baby food feeders which can be used to freeze breast milk for teething and we can also use them when he's ready to start trying real food!
I also wanted to get my baby a cute Valentine's day outfit to wear on the day so I got him this onesie from Etsy! I'm so excited for my baby's first Valentine's day and for all of the baby Valentines basket ideas that will come over the next few years. I will try my best to keep this post updated each year!
I hope this post gave you some baby Valentines basket ideas! Thanks for supporting my blog!
