My Husband’s Surprise 30th Birthday Party

About 3 weeks prior to my husband's 30th birthday I decided to throw him a surprise birthday party! He has spent the last few years working like crazy to grow his business from the ground up and rarely spends time with friends. We also had our first baby last year and the last 5 months has been focused mostly on him, so I figured my husband deserved a special celebration for his 30th! In this post I'm sharing 30th birthday party ideas for men!

The first step in planning his surprise 30th birthday party was deciding on the location. I knew I didn't have the energy to get our house ready for hosting but wanted to make sure it was a family friendly location so we could bring our baby. I found a local brewery that allowed children and had a perfect arcade room that I could reserve for the party! The next step was creating the guest list and sending an evite invitation! We reserved the location from 1-3 and provided appetizers and birthday cookies and cupcakes.  

The room we reserved at the brewery was full of pinball machines, a pool table, and other games so there wasn't much of a need for decorations. I did order a bouquet of 30th birthday balloons from Party City and was glad I could order online for curbside pick up since I wasn't sure how I was going to wrangle a bunch of balloons out to my car with a baby! I was surprised to learn they also offer delivery, so keep that in mind for your next party! For the birthday desserts I ordered custom birthday cookies from a local bakery and mini cupcakes from Meijer. These birthday cupcake toppers were the funniest, cutest addition to the party decor! My husband was completely shocked by the surprise party and we had the best time celebrating him with so many of our closest friends and family!
