New Mom Gift Guide

Whether you are Christmas shopping or just wanting to treat the new mom with something special, this new mom gift guide will help you choose the perfect gift for her!

All of the items on this gift guide for the new mom are things that I have personally used over the last 8 weeks during my transition into motherhood. I can assure you that any new mom would be thrilled to receive something from this list. Make sure to check out my previous gift guides for the homebody and for her. Anything from those lists would make a great gift for the new mom too! You may even find some repeat items, which is how you know they are tried and true!

1. Robe

I lived in a robe the first month after having my baby. It's the easiest thing to wear in those early days when skin to skin is important, you're breastfeeding all day long, and you probably barely had time to shower let alone get dressed! This is my favorite robe but I wish I would have sized up. I also love this robe which is much more affordable!

2. Dime beauty products

Dime skincare products totally saved my postpartum skin! I love this brand because the ingredients are clean so I feel comfortable using them while I am breastfeeding. 3. Stanley water bottle & LMNT

Breastfeeding makes you feel constantly thirsty so a Stanley water bottle that keeps your drink cold is a must! The 40 oz quencher is kind of heavy and difficult to cary when you have a baby in one arm and are likely trying to carry multiple things in the other hand, so I recommend this one instead. The LMNT electrolyte drink packets have really helped keep up my milk supply and they taste great. Bundling these two items together would be such a cute and useful gift for a new mom!

4. Summer Fridays lip butter balm

As I keep mentioning, breastfeeding seriously sucks all of the moisture out of your body which unfortunately often leaves you with chapped lips. The Summer Fridays lip butter balms are my favorite because they have a little hint of color, but the sweet new mint flavor would be perfect to keep on a bedside table to use during middle of the night feedings!

5. Aerie gift card

I bought these leggings towards the end of my pregnancy and they have also been my go-to pair for postpartum! It can be so difficult to find comfortable cute clothes to wear after you have a baby so an Aerie gift card would be the ultimate gift for the new mom to get herself a new outfit, bra, or undies!

6. Solly baby wrap

The only way I've been able to get anything done around the house while still holding my baby is with the Solly baby wrap. It's great for the newborn stage because the baby feels tight and close to you while you have your hands free. Fair warning: my baby did not like being in this at first but I think it was because I wasn't tying it tight enough. He loves it now and takes the best naps while he's in it!

7. Door dash gift card

We received a few of these right after our baby was born and they were such a huge help for ordering in food or groceries without having to leave the house!

8. Ice roller

I used this ice roller all throughout pregnancy to help reduce the extra puffiness in my face. It feels so good on your eyes in the morning, especially when you're not getting much sleep at night. I've also used it to massage my neck because it gets so sore when you're always looking down at your baby while holding them.

9. Tula Eye Balm

Speaking of not sleeping much, this Tula under eye balm is cooling, brightening, and gives your skin the prettiest glow! I use this every morning after I ice roll and it's perfect to help make you look more awake on days when you don't want to wear makeup.

10. Blanket

This has been my all time favorite blanket to use while snuggling with my baby, but this one also has that buttery soft fabric and is much more affordable!

11. Anything personalized

Any new mom is going to love something personalized with their baby's name on it. My sister gifted me this cute, comfy sweatshirt right after I gave birth to my baby and I was so excited when I saw his name on the sleeve! I've worn it all the time postpartum!
